I'm Back!

I have started the course that will be the end of my dealings with this community college (I am very happy to be about finished). I am determined to enjoy this class -- it is world literature II, which sounds fun, but my teacher seems a little on the crazy side. However, it has only been two days so far...I shall endeavor to give him a better chance to prove himself a good teacher of literature.

More posts will probably follow--

Hmmm... I've always liked literature, except for all the questions.

World lit? Mmm that could mean cool stuff like Don Quixote or torturous stuff like Crime and Punishment. Blergh. I hope for your sake that your teacher stays away from Russian lit!

Unless of course you like Dostoevsky...

I love Dostoevsky!!! We had to read it for our internet classes. So confusing, but so cool.

I should have said:

We had to read Brothers K. for our internet classes. (I was so excited I didn't know what I was typing!)

Karen, enjoy them now while you are made to read them. I wish I had. ;)

So... is there anything else going on right now? btw, sorry that you weren't able to come to the Sacred Harp singing in Crosbyton, but we enjoyed having most of the Ritchies there. We had about 48 people there. Rachel Watson, Elliott (sp?), and I also enjoyed playing Hide and Seek and a game of Uno with Elliott's TINY cards!

I read Crime and Punishment in college and was really fascinated by it. Told myself I'd read Brothers K some day but never did. Still on my list, though.
